Kalona By-Ways 90-Minute Bus Tour
Experience that “Old Fashioned” Hospitality! Travel back in time on scenic back roads and get a sense of the rigorous days that comprise the Amish way of life. Learn about their family ethic, while you view the homes, one room schools, beautifully manicured gardens, & working horses. Tours take about 90 minutes. New spacious seats and air conditioning!
When: Twice daily (Monday – Saturday) between April 1 – October 31, except holidays.
**Starting at 11 am & 1 pm**

Quilt Block Walking Tour
42 beautiful quilt patterns are crafted into the sidewalks, and more are featured on signposts accompanied by lush hanging plantings during the summer season. This walking tour, which takes approximately one hour, and is slightly over a half mile in length, is a great way to be introduced to a craft that is a large part of Amish culture.
Barn Quilt Driving Tour
Four loops originating from the county seat of Washington feature over 100 hand-painted quilt patterns tastefully framed on the sides of historic and unique barns throughout this scenic farm country.
