We are at your service. The Kalona Area Chamber of Commerce is comprised of dedicated staff and volunteers to advance the prosperity of member businesses and organizations.
The Kalona Area Chamber of Commerce has been actively involved in the community for over 30 years. We’ve also been accredited with the Better Business Bureau since 1994 and currently hold an A+ rating.
Our daily routine is diverse and may include hosting networking programs, conducting special community events, holding ribbon-cutting ceremonies, advertising on behalf of our members, participating in long-range planning, or leading volunteer beautification efforts.

Ben started as Director in December 2018 and looks forward to the opportunity of leading the Chamber. His goals for the Chamber are to improve communication, increase member benefits, and provide greater consistency in day-to-day operations.
Prior to retirement, Ron owned and published the Kalona News. Ron helps greet visitors to Kalona several days a week at the Chamber Visitor’s Center.
Lily is currently a sophomore at the University of Iowa. Lily is a Kalona native and has been assisting at the Chamber since early 2018.
Margaret has been an integral volunteer throughout the Kalona community for over 20 years, including the Kalona Historical Village, the Kalona Chamber, and the Kalona Sales Barn.
