- 11:00 a.m. – Justin Horesowsky
- 12:15 p.m. – Cedar County Cobras
- 3:00 pm. – The Old Man Band
Cedar County Cobras have been described as contagious, acoustic rockabilly, dancing bluegrass, or brand-new old-time country with the gritty sound of soulful blues. It is almost impossible to box the sound of The Cobras into one musical genre. Just know that you should be prepared to bring your dancing shoes and party with this musical troupe made up by two brothers, a gal, and a small army of string instruments to make original music that can only be found down a gravel road in rural Iowa. These folks come together from two musical families blending the sound of gravel road rock n’ roll with a mandolin and upright bass to bring you one heck of an acoustic string band! Check out the video below for a sneak peek of their music, produced by Iowa City’s Friday Night Concert Series.
You are welcome to bring your own chair or blanket to sit in the grassy area in front of the stage. A limited amount of chairs and picnic tables will be available.
