Two performances of “It’s a Wonderful Life,” a live radio play, will be performed in the Chapel at Pleasantview Home Saturday, Dec. 14. The first performance will be at 3 p.m. for the Pleasantview Home residents and their families.

The second performance will be open to the general public and will be at 7 p.m. in the Chapel.

Feel like you are in the audience of a live radio broadcast as you watch voice actors and sound effects people work their magic.

The performances are 60 minutes long and are free. A freewill offering will benefit the Pleasantview Building Fund.

The play was written by Joe Landry and will be directed by Trent Yoder. Performances will be done by residents of Kalona, Wellman and Iowa City.

There will be a special performance by Old Man Band.
