Christmas in Kalona
A visit from Santa, a skate around the ice-rink, and carriage rides are only a few of the exciting activities you’ll find at Kalona’s annual Christmas celebration. Volunteer committee members are needed to help organize the event from all angles, including set-up and tear down. The committee typically convenes at the end of the summer to begin planning. Monthly meetings are between 1-2 hours in length.
Kalona Days is a summer tradition. The event varies by year but you’ll likely help organize our annual Fun Run, the parade, the kid’s zone, or even the main stage music lineup. Volunteer committee members usually meet beginning in February and will help plan new and existing traditions. Monthly meeting are between 1-2 hours in length.
