Downtown Kalona is filled with warmth and live music! Campfires and musicians are set up on street corners. Sip complimentary hot cider and hot cocoa while enjoying the music.

Kids visit downtown businesses, collecting free small goodies to fill their stockings! Pick up a Stocking at the Kalona Chamber.

Visit the YMCA from 9am - 3pm to start your Christmas shopping at the Kalona Christmas Market. Kids can enjoy face painting, cookie decorating, ornament making, and more! Be sure to stick around for Santa’s arrival and photos with Santa and his reindeer!

Walk through the Kalona Historical Village from 4pm - 7pm. You can join in the caroling, roast marshmallows next to the campfires, and enjoy the beautiful trees decorated by community businesses and organizations. Be sure to vote for your favorite tree!

We’re accepting new vendors for the Kalona Christmas Market!

Your business, organization, friends, or family can decorate a tree together at the Kalona Historical Village. The Christmas Tree Walk will be on Saturday from 4pm - 7pm! Your business or organization name will be featured with your tree. Guests will vote for their favorite tree and the winner will be acknowledged and get a prize of Kalona Kash.

Caroling and live music will take place during the Christmas Tree Walk, Saturday from 4pm - 7pm. We’d love to have your school, church, or group sign up in advance.
