Mark your Calendars for June 21 & 22, 2024

  • Parade

    The parade is the big event in downtown Kalona! Enter a float to promote your business or organization. Or pick a spot along the sidewalks to enjoy the parade and get lots of candy! Parade begins at 4:00pm, going down C Avenue from West to East.

  • Food Vendors + Kids Activities

    Before the parade get lunch at one of our restaurants or from a variety of food trucks. Kids can enjoy pony rides, face painting, games, barrel rides, and more!

  • Run/Walk

    Kalona Days starts off on Saturday morning with Fun Run/Walk. For the 2024 race, 50% of all registration fees will be donated to the Parkinson’s Foundation.

    Pre-register by submitting your form to the Kalona Area Chamber of Commerce.

  • Pie & Cookie Baking Contest

    Enter your homemade pie to win prizes and the status of best pie in Kalona! Kalona Days Pie Baking Contest is a nonprofessional baking contest open to the community.

  • Pickleball Tournament

    The Kalona YMCA hosts a pickleball tournament at the Kalona YMCA, beginning at 10:00am. Registration is $20 per team to enter this tournament. Call (319)656-2400 to register.

  • Night Market

    Friday evening shop after-hours at downtown retailers and Farmers Market vendors. Enjoy live music, free wagon rides, and more!
