Administrative Specialist

Job Description:
The Kalona Chamber is adding an office position to aid with the "behind the scenes" tasks that make this organization thrive. This job will be a part time position ranging from 2-4 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours if needed near large events.
Weekly tasks will include:
Printing checks
Identifying and correctly assigning categories (in Quickbooks online) to expenses, payments, deposits, and daily sales records
Recording sponsorships, vendor fees, and membership dues
All bookkeeping tasks as assigned
Monthly tasks will include:
Sending statements as needed
Verifying payroll hours and submitting them to our accountant
All bookkeeping tasks as assigned
Individual projects will include:
Invoicing for Membership Dues (October)
Sales recording and reporting during the Iowa State Fair (August)
Other misc projects throughout the year as needed
