Office Assistant
The Kalona Chamber of Commerce office is looking to fill a part-time position of 10-14 hours per week based on the season. Extra hours are available during events.
This role is great for someone that familiar with the Kalona area, enjoys customer service, and has experience with websites & social media.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responding to phone calls and emails
- Scheduling tours
- Creating promotional materials for flyers and social media
- Updating website
- General restocking and maintenance
- Available to assist at event site or office during Kalona Chamber events
Qualifications:
- Familiar with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva, web platforms, email marketing, and social media
- Friendly customer service and interpersonal skills
- General knowledge and understanding of Kalona businesses and culture.
- Professional communication
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for both staff and patrons
