#1: You MUST have experience in cabinet design, preferably with multiple years of experience in residential cabinetry and kitchen layouts.
#2: You MUST be confident with cabinet design software and enjoy working with people to create dream kitchens.

Position Details
Company: Heritage Kitchens
Position: Cabinet Designer & Sales Associate
Status: Full-time (4–5 days/week) or part-time
Location: Kalona, Iowa
Compensation: Based on experience and commitment
Education: No formal education requirements, but strong software/design skills are essential.
Job Responsibilities:
• Meet with customers to discuss kitchen and cabinetry needs
• Create cabinet layouts and kitchen designs using software (Mozaik)
• Prepare professional, easy-to-understand design presentations
• Assist customers in making selections and finalizing projects
• Price and quote jobs accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate with production and installation teams
• Maintain records and follow up with leads and clients
Requirements:
We are hiring people with a great attitude and real skill. You should be:
• Highly experienced in kitchen and cabinet design
• Skilled in cabinet design software (experience with Mozaik is a plus)
• Friendly and confident with people
• Organized and efficient
• Focused on excellence and details
• Coachable and self-motivated
• Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
• Able to manage multiple projects and follow through
Other Requirements:
• You MUST have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• You MUST be comfortable communicating directly with clients
• Experience in cabinet sales is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of construction or cabinet production is a bonus
