Whispering Pines Getaway joins the Kalona Chamber

Elvin & Rachel Martin created a cozy getaway just 7 miles outside of Kalona! They wanted to offer a refreshing experience for their community and area travelers. Putting all of their small town hospitality into this little house, continues to gather great reviews from guests. It’s furnished with big comfy couches, a fire pit and outdoor swing, a foosball table, a coffee maker, Wifi, a washer & dryer, and clean spacious bathrooms. 

   The Martins rent out the whole 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house. They often host folks needing an extended getaway for a full week. Families appreciate that the location and setup is very child friendly. Everyone loves the beautiful Iowa countryside and peaceful surroundings – making it an ideal location to disconnect from the usual fast pace of life.
